The method

A method.
Not magic.

A memory worthy of being passed on is built with rigour : structured capture, human validation, preserved sources, prudent answers.

The capture

Structuring a profile of judgment.

Understanding a person's point of view in depth — values, beliefs, experiences, judgments — through their narratives and their explanations.

1

Structured life narrative

Biographical interviews : history, journey, founding events.

2

Thematic interviews

Values, beliefs, relationship to risk, money, power, faith.

3

Validated questionnaires

Validated tools where appropriate, complemented by proprietary questionnaires co-designed and then tested.

4

Decision scenarios

Dilemmas and simulations : the way of deciding.

5

Analysis & triangulation

Cross-referencing narratives, questionnaires and documents by qualified experts.

6

Review & validation

Re-reading and validation by the source person, at every step.

A protocol co-designed with psychologists, psychometricians and qualified experts. A strictly non-clinical framework : a cartography of judgment — never a diagnosis, never a duplication of the person.

Anatomy of a memory

Every memory is a governed object.

A Lignée memory is not just a text. Every important element remains tied to a source, a date, a context, a version and a level of certainty.

Ethics

A strict discipline of response.

The system never claims to be the person. It restores, prudently, what was entrusted to it — and acknowledges what it does not know.

What the system never says
  • "I am your father."
  • "I have come back to talk to you."
  • "I feel, I remember."
What it answers, sourced
  • "According to the preserved elements…"
  • "She would likely have advised…"
  • "I do not have enough elements."

Sovereignty

Your data, your territory.

Explicit consent, encryption, export and deletion on demand. Three deployment modes, according to your requirement for control.

Mode I

Private European cloud

A dedicated instance, hosted in Europe, maintenance included. The standard deployment, with controlled costs.

Mode II

The server at your home

The data resides in your own environment. No public endpoint : controlled outbound connection, governed AI access.

Mode III

Fully disconnected

Ultra-confidential : no external calls, local model. The most demanding mode, for the most sensitive memories.

Transmission over time

Continuity & digital succession.

A memory meant to cross generations must provide for its own continuity — organised from day one, during the source person's lifetime and after it.

Beneficiary governance

Defined roles, progressive access according to each heir's age or role.

Death or incapacity

A trusted person or designated administrator, precise activation conditions, recovery keys.

Portability

Full export of the corpus and memories, change of provider or server without loss.

Backup & resilience

Encrypted copies, tested restoration, planned hardware replacement.

Right to erasure

Definitive deletion, at the request of the source person or according to their wishes.

Third-party data

Spouse, associates, relatives : image and voice rights, restriction of sensitive passages, posthumous rights.

Continuity is not a legal clause : it is part of the product.
